Angela joined the Blaber Lab in Fall 2019 after graduating with a B.S. from SUNY Geneseo in Biology and Biomathematics.  While her passion for research began with studying carnivorous plants, her interests shifted gears after an internship with the Center for Injury Biomechanics at Wake Forest University.  Her research at RPI involves characterizing the effect of spaceflight stressors (i.e. microgravity and radiation) on stem cell-based tissue degeneration in the musculoskeletal and immune system.  In her free time, Angela enjoys hiking, Ultimate Frisbee, and playing the piano.
