Arav is a first-year student in the 7-year Accelerated Premedical-Medical Program (B.S./M.D.) at The Pennsylvania State University, where he is also pursuing a minor in Health Policy and Administration. He developed a strong interest in RNA sequencing and transcriptomic analysis through the 2024 NASA GeneLab for High Schools (GL4HS) program. Currently, Arav is collaborating remotely with James Hunt on a multi-dataset transcriptomic analysis investigating the effects of spaceflight on the spleen.
