Originally from Arizona, Brycelyn Whitman graduated from Arizona State University in 2022 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. Her research experience involves the conformation of a Knockout Line using Western Blotting technologies in hESCs. These Knockout Lines were created using a gene-editing technique known as base-edited Isogenic hPSC line Generation using a Transient Reporter for Editing Enrichment (BIG-TREE). Outside of the lab, Brycelyn enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and trying cute new restaurants.
